I purchased this camera as a replacement to my Canon PowerShot SD1300IS. The most important wisdom I chose to interchange it was in support of the IS star. When I purchased to SD600 it was on trade and the IS skin tone on cameras were an expensive option on upgraded models. I control to say the star performs as predictable. Obviously it's not available to figure out much if in attendance is a luck of camera shake, but it does the job in support of what did you say? It's intended to figure out. Picture quality is admirable. Low light does well despite the reviews I've heard. Manual settings figure out merely as well as sedan settings. I like the playback button with the purpose of lets you go over pics more exactly than having to switch the camera into any more mode. When taking multiple shots the lag period flanked by pics is least. Videos piece well with it but in attendance is with the purpose of pesky veto in and not at home zoom for the period of a film.
 Sound quality was surprisingly lovely with film mode as well. It takes outside film well with little wind racket. I was a small piece cautious approaching selling a camera with veto viewfinder as my stay fresh camera had solitary, but let's tackle it, I hardly used it what time I had it. Insisting on a camera with a viewfinder plus significantly partial my choices in support of place and shoots. I'm fulfilled with veto viewfinder and this camera is exactly what did you say? I expect in a lovely place and whiz. I considered the SD1200IS since it was on trade and a little with a reduction of expensive but I figured in support of a a small amount of especially skin tone, it's worth the especially $50. Battery life is terrific! Even under moderate to hooligan employment it lasted all night and part of the after that day of the week. I'd intimate forever having any more battery group as a backup though as you not at all know what time you might need it. I would suggest this camera to someone looking in support of a quality place and whiz. For the outlay I don't think you can ask in support of much more in a compact digital camera.
